Detergents and other cleaning agents for cleaning often contain animal raw materials.
The surfactants contained, which are essential for the cleaning effect, are made from bone fat from slaughtered animals. Or from rapeseed or palm oil.
It is therefore possible to do without animal surfactants. The recycling of slaughterhouse waste is often much cheaper and is therefore preferred.
Caution: In retail it is difficult to determine whether a detergent is vegan because it is not clearly declared.
The bluu wash strips are vegan and contain plant-based surfactants.
