In order to wash sustainably, three things should be considered:
The washing itself, the detergent and drying . You can pay attention to the following points for sustainable washing:
- Skip the pre-wash
- Wash at low temperatures
- Reduce the number of washes
- Use biodegradable detergent, such as bluu
- Avoid fabric softener
- Hang up the laundry instead of drying it
By the way: bluu is biodegradable and completely free of microplastics, preservatives, optical brighteners and bleach.
