Medical masks, such as surgical and FFP2 masks, are intended as single-use products and cannot be washed.
Fabric masks, on the other hand, can be machine washed at 60 degrees and are then ready for use again.
If you don’t want to throw away your FFP2 mask immediately after a single use, but want to use it again, you should always hang it up to dry and air it.
Don't forget: the longer a mask is worn, the less it protects.
