Chewing gum residues on clothing are tedious and require a little patience. They are best removed when the chewing gum has already dried. Cold is the best treatment.
- Freeze: Place the affected garment in a plastic bag and freeze it. After that, the frozen chewing gum stain can, at best, be laboriously broken up and nibbled off.
- Ice cubes: If you need it quicker, you can rub the stain with an ice cube and freeze it, then scrape it off.
