Swimwear, such as bikinis, swimming trunks or bathing suits are mostly made of polyester, elastane and nylon, which can be a bit sensitive.
To ensure that your swimwear stays beautiful for as long as possible, you should pay attention to the following points when washing it.
How to properly wash your swimwear:
- Rinse with water after bathing : Salt and chlorine water attack the fabric fibres.
- Wash at a maximum of 30 degrees (or if the label says hand wash only): Too much heat can break the fibers
- No fabric softener
- No dryer and no direct sun
- Pre-treating sunscreen stains: Dissolve a tip of bluu cleaning strips in water and soak the bikini or swimming trunks overnight.
