Breathable clothing is made of material that repels rain and wind, but at the same time transports the warm, humid air caused by sweating to the outside. This keeps the body dry.
Especially sports and functional clothing often consists of breathable textiles.
To maintain breathability, you should pay attention to the following points when washing:
- At low temperature (30 to 40 degrees) and low spin speed (max. 800 revolutions) wash
- No fabric softener : it sticks together the fabric and ensures that the fibers can no longer absorb sweat.
- Do not wash synthetic fabrics and cotton together , the cotton will get caught in the fibers and clog them.
- Hang up instead of in the dryer.
